PAL

The Boise Police Activities League (PAL) is a nonprofit organization that provides outdoor activities for kids in Idaho Communities.  The PAL organization involves at risk kids, kids from single parent families and financially disadvantaged kids in outdoor programs many of them would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in.  Some of the programs include “Raft Along” which takes 700 kids down the Main Payette River each summer with Cascade Raft and Kayak; “Pack Along” which takes at risk kids who are trying to do well into the mountains for three days and exposes them to outdoor activities such as horse back riding and camping with Deadwood Outfitters.  Other PAL programs include “Youth Hunting” and “Hook a Kid on Golf”.
