Spring Round-Up (9th annual)
Idaho State Championship Elk Calling Contest (3rd annual)
The Spring Round-Up is an area communities fundraising event in its 9th year and you won't
want to miss it! Hosted by the Clearwater Valley Chapter of the Idaho Outfitters & Guides
Association, it is a relaxing day at Orofino's City Park that includes live music, raffles & games,
the ever popular ‘musical saddles', live & silent auctions and the best darn BBQ Rib-eye Steak
Dinner in the valley and is complimented by Dutch Oven potatoes and desserts.
Once again, the Idaho State Championship Elk Calling Contest will be held at the Spring
Roundup. This year marks the contest's 3rd year and again promises to be very entertaining.
Prizes will be awarded. More details will be published in the weeks leading up to the April 11th
event.
Proceeds provide scholarships to four area High Schools and half of the profits are given to the
ICARE project (Cancer Assistance & Recovery Effort) providing financial aid to people in the
Clearwater Valley area who are actively receiving treatment for cancer or other serious illnesses.
Area communities also benefit, throughout the year, with other various contributions made from
the profits of the Spring Roundup.
