The IOGA was one of 33 non-profit organizations awarded grant funds by the Idaho Department of Commerce and Labor http://cl.idaho.gov/ftp/grantawardsummary.xls this summer for the purpose of promoting Idaho tourism. IOGA's award was for $61,659 and will be used for Guided Outdoors Adventure Reprint, Advertising, Website Maintenance, Fulfillment and E-Newsletters. Speaking of e-newsletters, Donna Geisler (donna@fusionnet.com) will again be interviewing outfitters, compiling and distributing them. The primary goal for these newsletters will be to provide information on specific outfitted activities thereby driving inquiries to individual outfitter businesses. We welcome your ideas for e-newsletter topics. In fact, we are fresh out of ideas. Check out the IOGA website to see what we have done thus far at http://www.ioga.org/newsletters.htm
