Alert to Forest Service Outfitters In some Ranger Districts the Forest Service expects outfitters to pay full fees on allocated capacity. America Outdoors Association is working on getting relief on that issue for this year.  Some ranger districts are working will with their outfitters, but others are charging full fees for all allocated capacity and want all the money upfront.  Some even want fees on the full advertised price for all allocated capacity, when many companies are discounting to generate demand.  Practices vary around the country, so we need to document the extent of the impact on outfitter operations during this difficult time.

If you are a Forest Service permittee, please take ONE MINUTE to answer the questionnaire to help us document this issue.  Be sure to fill out the open ended questions and identify your Forest(s).
