IOGA Members:

 

One of IOGA's priorities for 2008 is to monitor state issues including the possibility of a non-motorized boat tax (registration).

 

Idaho Governor Butch Otter named a work group in November of 2007 that has met three times including yesterday, July 17. IOGA's Grant Simonds has represented the industry on this work group. Attached is Simonds input to the work group during both the June and July meetings of the work group. IOGA's lobbyist, Jeremy Pisca, and his assistant Ben Davenport, have been instrumental in working this issue.
