OUTFITTERS AND GUIDES ARE LICENSED BY THE STATE OF IDAHO FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC. Licenses are issued for a defined area primarily to protect the health, safety and welfare of the license holder's guests and to conserve the natural resources of the State.
OUTFITTERS ARE BONDED. GUIDES ARE EMPLOYED BY OUTFITTERS. It is unlawful to engage in the business of outfitting or guiding without first securing an outfitter or guide license. Ask to see the license of your outfitter or guide.
